Sinematic Worldized

A cinematic sound library created by sound designers from around the world.

 

 

 

SoundMorph has embarked on a truly unique project: creating a cinematic sound library made by sound designers from across the globe! Now, the submission phase has officially ended, and we are thrilled to be entering the final stages of curating what will become the Sinematic Worldized library. We’ve received fantastic submissions from talented sound designers all around the world!

 

This project has been all about collaboration, using the technique of “Worldizing,” where recorded audio is played back and re-recorded in real-world environments to capture unique acoustics. The result? A sound collection like no other, infused with the natural ambiance and reverberations of environments from all over the world.

If your submission has been chosen, we would love to hear from you! Please reach out to us at info@soundmorph.com to claim your prize and, if applicable, send us the “dry” versions of your sounds if they weren’t included in the original submission. These versions will help us ensure maximum flexibility for all future users of the library.

Led by Vaughn Wagner and Shenandoe Ochoa, the two 1st place winners of our 2024 SoundMorph Sound Design competition, this collection represents the collective creativity of sound artists worldwide. Stay tuned as we finalize this one-of-a-kind library!

For those who submitted 10 files, you’ll receive a free copy of the final library upon release. And if your sounds are chosen for the final collection, you’ll also receive:

    2.    Your Name in the Credits: You’ll be listed as a contributor on the “Sinematic Worldized” product page and in the metadata of the release.

    

    3.    A Free Copy of the Final Library: Everyone who submitted 10 files, whether selected or not, will receive the final Sinematic Worldized library.

“Worldizing” adds immersive realism to audio by re-recording sounds in real-world environments, capturing the natural acoustics of spaces like churches, tunnels, forests, and more. It’s about taking a clean studio recording and layering it with the character of a specific location, blending the art of sound design with the richness of our environment.
