About The Designer

ENACT was created in collaboration with SeungJun Park, a South Korea–based sound designer with a refined ear for impact, tone, and expressive detail. Focused on powerful, modern magic and energy-driven sound design, his work balances clarity, emotion, and physical weight with intention. We believe strongly in SeungJun’s talent and are proud to showcase his sound design in ENACT.

ENACT treats cinematic magic as physical force. Designed around arcane impacts, strikes, energy bursts, and power moments, the library gives spells and abilities weight, texture, and consequence rather than relying on thin decorative magic tropes.

The sonic character leans toward modern RPG-style fantasy, making ENACT especially useful for spell combat, abilities, cinematic magic hits, power activations, and high-impact interface moments. More than 400 sounds across 1.84 GB keep the palette focused while still giving you enough variation to build distinct magical systems.

Created in collaboration with sound designer SeungJun Park, ENACT balances polished finished effects with a strong sense of physical impact—magic designed to land, strike, and matter.

So aggressive sounds

I find this library to be incredibly modern and impactful. The quality is definitely up to par with AAA titles, and it perfectly captures current trends. While the rumble sounds feel ready to use right out of the box, I think it would be even better if the textures and magical elemental characteristics were a bit more distinct and easily recognizable

I’ve dedicated my life to Sound 35 years on films when you make these libraries, it seems every file has a massive hit in between it. It’s OK to give us the hits but separate the Audio more so we can be more creative. It’s too tied together.

Hi Steven, I appreciate you sharing your perspective, especially with 35 years in film sound behind you. ENACT was intentionally created as fully designed, layered arcane impact material — built to drop in and hit hard. It’s less about isolated source and more about finished energy.

A lot of our other SoundMorph libraries include both source and design elements, but this one was meant to live firmly in the design lane.

Still, I hear what you’re saying. Some creators want more separation for customization, and that’s valuable feedback.

Unfortunately, more of the same.

Unfortunately, more of the same.
I appreciate the skill and effort that went into making this library, but the over use of Disperser-like processing makes it sound like most other designed libraries. Maybe that style sells, but it is unappealing to me, and unlikely to be used. I would greatly prefer more libraries with well recorded, interesting sounds that are not over-mastered.

Thanks for sharing your perspective. ENACT leans heavily into designed, stylized arcane impact processing, and that approach isn’t for everyone.

SoundMorph has always operated strongly in the design-forward space, though we do have other libraries that focus more on raw, well-recorded source material with minimal processing.

Enact is a great Sci-Fi - Magic - Plasma Energy sound effect library

“Enact” is a great Sci-Fi - Magic - Plasma Energy sound effect library. Being in animation sound, I put this library to use immediately. Recently, I also purchased “Hyperthunder” and “Slipstream”. I’m finding those to be among my new go-to choices for fresh fantasy sound effects.

Fantastic product

I bought the Soundmorph Universe Bundle in December and Enact was delivered to my account in February - wow. To everyone thinking about buying the Universe bundle do it - it is worth it and I cannot wait for the next new library - the quality is fantastic.

Important install note

Open this file after downloading every part:

For multipart sound libraries

  1. Download every part into the same folder. Wait until every download has finished, and keep the original filenames unchanged.
  2. Open Part 1 only in one of the apps below: the file ending in .7z.001, .zip.001 or .part1.rar (sometimes .part01.rar). For older .rar + .r00 sets, open the .rar file.
  3. The app reads the remaining parts automatically and extracts the complete library. Keep all parts together until extraction finishes; you do not need to open the other parts.

If your library contains separate, complete ZIP archives instead of numbered volumes, extract each ZIP separately. Software installers have their own instructions.

Mac — Keka recommended
Keka is our recommended Mac app for large SoundMorph libraries and can be faster than The Unarchiver. Get the free direct download from Keka’s website, or support its developer with the Mac App Store version ($6.49 USD). Store pricing varies by region and may change. The Unarchiver also works and is free. Extraction speed depends on your Mac and the archive.

Keka users: allow folder or drive access

Keka needs permission to read the folder or drive holding your downloads, especially multipart archives on an external drive. If you have not already granted access:

  1. Open Keka → Settings (or Preferences) → File Access.
  2. Click the + button at the bottom left. Select the folder or drive containing all your downloaded parts, then click Give access to Keka (or Open).
  3. If you are extracting to a different folder or drive, grant access there too. Then open Part 1 only again.

Seeing “Operation not permitted” or “Cannot open the file as archive”? Check Keka’s access first. These messages do not necessarily mean the download is damaged.
