Don't Go Anywhere Without The Manual!

This is not so much a review per se, but my first impressions on Wave Warper...a new plugin released by SoundMorph.

There are plenty of plugz out there that pretty muchgo BANG when you pull the trigger. They also make one moise or other when you click on load. Most plugins are pretty much instant coffee when it comes to just loading and using them....not the case with Wave Warper 2. If you are going to go into this without so much as a glance at the user manual, I would say...start drinking heavily now...unless, like me, you just happened to hit on a licky click and discovered how absolutly INSANE this Wave Warper 2 really is.

Wave Warper offer surprises unlike any pluginI have tried in the past. Load up your DAW of choice, create a VST instrument track with Wave Warper loaded as the instrument, Change the PLAY MODE near the top left of the plug to ON WHEN PLAYING then choose a preset, Begin PLAY on your DAW then - take a deep breath and start dragging that white ball around and see what happens. I will bet the farm that whatever other plugins you have in your collection, none of them will do to your head - what Wave Warper does!

No that my brain is sufficiently frazzled after almost on hour on Wave Warper, armed with the proper documentation, I will begin a prooper journey of sound design like no other!

Ignore this plugin at your own peril or immediately stuff this into your sound design toolbox and prepare the have a whole lotta phun!

I haven't gotten deep into it, but even playing around with the presets - many of which are excellent - is great fun.
