Ground Breaking Binaural Granular Synthesizer.

DUST is a synthesizer plugin based on a real-time particle simulation, where each particle is a separate granulating sound source. The motion of each particle is determined by the flow field, which determines the force applied to each particle at each point. Just like how the flow of a river determines the path of a leaf floating down in it. This is our most ambitious software release to date, and you are going to love it! Not only is DUST addictive to play with, but it generates some of the coolest sounds ever created.

Few synths are different and special

Few synths are different and special (like for instance Synplant). Dust is another one. Extra interesting when you want to play with spacial sounds and binary acoustics. Fun to explore. With the help of the few tutorials you know after 30 minutes everything you need. The GUI looks cool and invites to experiment with, maybe just because it's not intuitive at all. If you want to create spacial and extraordinary soundscapes it is a great plug in. If you just want to make music, don't buy it. With patience and creativity you can create sounds that can move to every corner of your headphone. Creating something impressive takes time. Nice that you can import your own samples. I hope the next updates makes it more stable, because crashes seem still to be a problem when you use Dust in more than one or two tracks of your project. More presets and/or the possibility to post and share user presets would be welcome. Not yet any experience to use it as an effect plu-in. Conclusion: Fun to work with, Great and innovative synth.

Great fun and an inventiver app for sound and motion

I found this vst app to be great fun, although some of the sounds seemed so low I thought my sound drivers were turned off. Just a matter of adjustment. But this is great idea and way to get movement into your music

Enjoying it a lot!

I love any plugin that let's me us my own samples as the basis for sound design. DUST is incredible in this regard. UI is not completely intuitive but having spent just a bit of time with it, it is now quite familiar. Good stuff all around!
