Ground Breaking Binaural Granular Synthesizer.

DUST is a synthesizer plugin based on a real-time particle simulation, where each particle is a separate granulating sound source. The motion of each particle is determined by the flow field, which determines the force applied to each particle at each point. Just like how the flow of a river determines the path of a leaf floating down in it. This is our most ambitious software release to date, and you are going to love it! Not only is DUST addictive to play with, but it generates some of the coolest sounds ever created.

Nice different Synth

A very nice and different kind of synth! Invites you to create sounds manipulating the emitters or samples modulating them through envelopes and lfo’s in a panel where you can observe their behavior. Many possibilities to change the sound and its character. Really nice idea guys!!

a lot of possibilities - if ambient soundscapes is your thing

I'm only writing this because Soundmorph insists that I write some feedback. I'm still coming to grips with what Dust can do, but it basically makes ambient noises, and does a good job of it. You can't play anything tone or note based - it's all just "sounds". You need to spend a little time getting used to how things work (because this is a pretty unique plugin) but there are a lot of possibilities - if ambient soundscapes is your thing.

Complex, but totally worth it

It takes some time to understand, but when you do, you can get some phenomenal sounds out of it.
