Morphosis Mechanical has some interesting and useful sounds

Morphosis Mechanical has some interesting and useful sounds which can be combined and stacked to create complex mechanical arrangements. I found the Steam Punk Machine very useful. The thing that lets it down are the excessively loooooong file names which causes problems. I wish they were much shorter or there was an easy way to edit them.

For example is the filename "ROBTMisc_RedLib_Morphosis Mechanical - Automaton Deploy Medium LAYER Lock Sweetner.wav" excessive ?

I was looking about new sound for a hearbook and as I tried out morphosis mechanical sounds I get a lot of new ideas. Great stuff. Quality is great.

Great mech of varying sizes!

Really nice selection of mech of varying materials, and especially some resonant tonal clanks - something I always find myself needing. The Designed section I liked the breakdown of stems, which makes it more useful than the comped sounds you'll typically find in Des parts of libraries - but with only one variation of each I found myself wanting a bit more. Overall, really solid library and great for anything from sci-fi to hyperrealistic weapons and more!

Fun library with really crisp audio, great for further mangling or using bits and pieces in your designs. Have used it for a lot of mechanical style UI sounds

Great Library

I am allways searching for mechanical sounds, more hyperrealistic. In this library I found an excelent product for adding into my collection. The Sound of "Iron Hero" are powerful and worthy of a robot.

The "toolbox" is full of individual segments from which you can cobble together your own "sound robot". There's not much more to say about "Steam Punk Machine," "Transformer," and "Tron-ed." They deliver wonderful, magnificent sounds that inspire my imagination about what I could do with them, it is insane!

The most intricate sounds iv'e heard to date. The creative possibility with these sfx are crazy and i love how you can layer the sounds to create something refreshing. Never found anything this good before.

Important install note

Open this file after downloading every part:

For multipart sound libraries

  1. Download every part into the same folder. Wait until every download has finished, and keep the original filenames unchanged.
  2. Open Part 1 only in one of the apps below: the file ending in .7z.001, .zip.001 or .part1.rar (sometimes .part01.rar). For older .rar + .r00 sets, open the .rar file.
  3. The app reads the remaining parts automatically and extracts the complete library. Keep all parts together until extraction finishes; you do not need to open the other parts.

If your library contains separate, complete ZIP archives instead of numbered volumes, extract each ZIP separately. Software installers have their own instructions.

Mac — Keka recommended
Keka is our recommended Mac app for large SoundMorph libraries and can be faster than The Unarchiver. Get the free direct download from Keka’s website, or support its developer with the Mac App Store version ($6.49 USD). Store pricing varies by region and may change. The Unarchiver also works and is free. Extraction speed depends on your Mac and the archive.

Keka users: allow folder or drive access

Keka needs permission to read the folder or drive holding your downloads, especially multipart archives on an external drive. If you have not already granted access:

  1. Open Keka → Settings (or Preferences) → File Access.
  2. Click the + button at the bottom left. Select the folder or drive containing all your downloaded parts, then click Give access to Keka (or Open).
  3. If you are extracting to a different folder or drive, grant access there too. Then open Part 1 only again.

Seeing “Operation not permitted” or “Cannot open the file as archive”? Check Keka’s access first. These messages do not necessarily mean the download is damaged.
